Doctors Gayle and Barry Rozantine are highly trained, compassionate professionals who work together to teach you about the factors which may be contributing to your stress and to help you attain a healthy, satisfying, and productive life.
Both doctors are on most major insurance panels, and our staff is experienced in working with insurance companies to ensure the continuity of your care. We file insurance claims for you and welcome the opportunity of working with you to help you overcome the challenges in your life. The Center for Health & Well-Being is designed to create a quiet, healing environment in which to provide mental health services. Our approach combines a soothing, tranquil environment and structured therapeutic experiences in a way that will gently guide you toward healing of your mind, body, and spirit.
The first step in your process begins as you open the door and step through the entrance to The Center for Health & Well-Being. You will find yourself in a large foyer with high ceilings and sunlight, surrounded by the soothing sound of water cascading down two waterfalls, one flowing into a large koi pond on your left and into a tropical fish pond on your right. The sound of flowing water and the natural beauty of the entrance create an environment in which you may begin the healing process.
There are two spacious, comfortable waiting areas, one for each of the doctors. Each waiting area is equipped with surround sound, which provides quiet music on a continual basis, comfortable furnishings, and interesting reading materials. Entering our comfortable and peaceful environment allows the process of quieting your mind to begin and prepares you for the next phase of treatment.
If you are at the Center to see Dr. Barry Rozantine, you will sign in at the front desk, receive initial paperwork, and be seated in the waiting area located on the right side of the building. After completing your paperwork, you will be seated in a therapy room, a smaller room furnished with appropriate reading materials, which you may read while awaiting Dr. Rozantine. Dr. Rozantine will ask you questions about the symptoms you are experiencing and any problems that are going on in your life that are troubling you. Dr. Rozantine will determine a diagnosis and will discuss appropriate medications and your treatment plan. Upon completion of your interview, you will be directed to schedule a follow-up appointment at the front desk.
If you are at the Center to see Dr. Gayle Rozantine, you will sign in at the front desk, receive initial paperwork and a life history questionnaire, and be seated on the left side of the building. You will be asked to complete the questionnaire in detail, which will provide information essential for Dr. Rozantine to understand your problems and therapeutic needs. Upon completion of your paperwork, Dr. Rozantine will lead you to her office where she will ask you about your responses to the questionnaire. Dr. Rozantine will determine a diagnosis and will discuss your goals for treatment and your treatment plan. Your interview will conclude with a description of the therapeutic experiences you may expect in future sessions. Upon completion of your interview, you will be directed to schedule an appointment at the front desk.

We are experienced in working with military personnel and their families. We have expanded our services to meet the needs for stabilization and support for family members whose loved ones are deployed to defend our country in other parts of the world. We consider it a privilege to be of service to family members of those who have chosen to defend our country. By caring for soldiers’ families, we assure soldiers that their family members will receive friendly and reliable support while they are away.
Gayle Rozantine, Ph.D., is a clinical and health psychologist, a Diplomate and Board Certified in Stress Management by The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Dr. Rozantine’s areas of expertise include stress management, treatment for mood disorders, including bi-polar disorder, depression and anxiety disorders, trauma survival, and emotional distress associated with physical illness and chronic pain. Dr. Rozantine provides individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy.
Dr. Rozantine earned a B.A. in psychology from Agnes Scott College, an M.A.T. in education from Emory University, an M.A. in clinical psychology from Western Carolina University, and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Rozantine completed her psychology residency and clinical fellowship in behavioral medicine at the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Rozantine is a member of the American Psychological Association, The Georgia Psychological Association, and the Coastal Area Psychological Association. Dr. Rozantine is a Diplomate of The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, is listed in the National Register of Health Care Providers in Psychology, and is listed in Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who‘s Who in the World. Dr. Rozantine is the founder and CEO of The Center for Health and Well-Being. P.C. She is committed to bringing you the latest developments in psychological treatment and in behavioral medicine.
Barry Rozantine, M.D., is a licensed psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Rozantine earned a B.S. from the University of Tennessee and attended school at Ross University. He completed his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Rozantine provides outpatient care for patients with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. He also works with patients with chronic pain, physical illness, and problems with substance abuse.
Dr. Rozantine is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the World Psychiatric Association. He is interested in psychopharmacology and has been an investigator is clinical drug trials.
